Light shade

If we all lived according to society’s expectations,

the brilliance of society’s light

would eventually dim.

  1. If you ask me i’d say ‘society’s light’ is dim to flickering already 😉 – and getting slowly dimmer – in a seemingly inverse proportion to population.

  2. If conformism goes all the way there will be a stratification of tasks in that society, a classful society will emerge with everyone doing what she is supposed to do. If those doers are selected by caste like in india, a lot of brilliance will be lost. If society selects on objective grounds, such a society might not be a hell to live in. Don’t forget that a conformist thinks in favour of the system.
