One I have regretably lived under for too long. Thank you for this Kelly. Your sayings always touch me somewhere deep.
I think most of us may have regret in this area; if we think about it. The model of control is a big one to dismantle – generations of ingraining.

what is the opposite of control? Trust?
To need control over another would be fear based – so, trust sounds right.
